Our Founder

JBT Financial Group was founded by Brian E. Tomuta with one goal in mind: to help others. With nearly a decade of tax experience, Brian strives to communicate complex financial situations into everyday language.

Brian graduated from North Park University in 2015, and soon after completed his state CPA licensure exams in the state of Illinois. In addition to his CPA credentials, Brian is also a Certified Quickbooks Proadvisor and has experience in both the public and private accounting sectors.

Brian currently resides in Illinois with his wife Jennifer, and two children. When not in the office, Brian can often be found on the soccer field, or his preferred client meeting space: the golf course.

By using our all-in-one approach, we strive to eliminate the need for billable hours. Since we believe every client has different needs, we do not offer a "one size fits all" approach. Every client is presented with a custom package tailored to fit their budget, resources, and specific needs.
